Plainfield East High School senior Angelyn Wong stands next to her award-winning animation at the Downers Grove North High School Scholastic Art reception on February 2, 2025. Wong received a Gold Key which means her animation will go on to compete at the national level scholastic competition.

Ten District 202 high school students won top spots in two prestigious art competitions.

Students placed in The Scholastic Regional Art and Writing Awards and the Lewis University High School Art Invitational.

The Scholastic Art and Writing Awards allows 7th through 12th grade students nationwide to submit works of art or writing in multiple categories to win scholarships and have their work published or exhibited by the Alliance for Young Artists and Writers.
