Members of the Plainfield High School-Central Campus Key Club made 34 fleece blankets for Project Linus on Wednesday, November 29, 2023.
The service club is affiliated with the Kiwanis Club International and is sponsored by Stephanie Capshaw and Sarah Russell.
The club has between 50 and 60 members and includes freshmen to seniors.
Project Linus is a nonprofit that collects and distributes handmade blankets to children who have been traumatized, seriously ill, or otherwise in need.
