The Plainfield Central Cross Country program offers an opportunity for kids of all ages to learn about the sport of distance running. Currently, we offer three summer camps: A one-week Elementary School Camp for grades 1-5, a two-week middle-school camp for grades 6-8, and a six-week high school summer running camp for grades 9-12. These camps are open to anyone in the community of Plainfield and any of the surrounding communities, and are hosted at Plainfield Central High School by the boys and girls cross country programs.
The goal of our running camp is to help cultivate an interstest within the community through teaching our kids about the sport of distance running. We cover topics such as training, nutrition, equipment, and teamwork. Our camps are designed around the foundation of all sports: having fun and getting better. Campers will be led by knowledgable coaches, assisted by current Plainfield Central High School Girls Cross Country athletes, and have the opportunity to hear from guest speakers.
If you are interested in signing up for any one of the three camps that we offer, please click on the link below.
ALL 2021 SUMMER CAMPS ARE YET TO BE DETERMINED. MORE UPDATES WILL BE AVAILABLE IN THE FUTURE.
Feel free to email John Prieboy if you have any questions about our camps (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Thank you very much for taking the time to check out our page, and we hope to see you this summer!
